iHeart on Dragon’s Den

This past week VitaSines CEO Sarah Goodman and President and Founder Dr. Jess Goodman, inventor of the iHeart System, travelled to Toronto to pitch on CBC's Dragon's Den. This has been a wonderful two year experience for our team. We were accepted asked to go on the show last season but had to decline as we didn't think it was the right time to really impress the Dragons, so we held back and waited to audition for Season 11. The team auditioned in Vancouver six months ago, when we got the word we were accepted to travel to Toronto and pitch on air we were so excited and began preparing immediately. Each team is provided a producer to work through the process, we were so lucky to have been paired with Ahmed from CBC, he wasn't just our producer, he quickly became our friend. Answering all of our funny questions about the Den, and working through our ever changing script for our 60-90 second intro which would be followed by 45 minutes of questions and answers from the Dragons.
The day was a whirlwind, we arrived at CBC Toronto at 7:45 am. I personally don't think I've ever been more awake at that hour, we were very excited to get on air and do our pitch. Turns out, it's a waiting game. Five hours later, after practicing to pictures on the wall at CBC we were told we were next to pitch. We were walked up the infamous Dragon's Den stairs, counted down, and told to walk on down into the Den and do what we'd been waiting two years to do.
So how did it go?? Well..... we can't tell you. As much as we love our iHeart family, we signed an NDA and can't risk the chance that any information on our pitch could get out and have an effect on our chances of being aired on Season 11 of Dragon's Den on CBC.
We will keep you updated on our air date!!
Thank you to Dragon's Den and CBC for the opportunity to pitch iHeart, the idea that has become our passion.
As always our goal is to educate every single person in North America about the importance of Aortic Stiffness and measuring Internal Age. If you have any questions or comments for our team please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org
