如何充分利用 iheart 远程应用程序

Now that you’ve downloaded the iheart apps and spent some time getting to know how the device works, you might be wondering: what can I do with iheart Remote?

iheart Remote was designed to give friends, family members, and healthcare practitioners a way to check in on the physical wellness of an iheart device user, no matter how far apart. It provides endless applications for distanced healthcare and is easy to use.

Whether you’re a health and wellness practitioner, patient, or concerned loved one, keep reading to find out how to get the most out of the iheart Remote app.

How it works

The iheart Remote app lets another person view your heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and a visual display of your breathing patterns in real-time, from wherever they are.

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Both users must have the iheart Remote app installed on their smart device (free to download in Google Play and the App Store). Only the user taking the reading needs to own the iheart device.

  1. Both users must have the iheart Remote apps open on their devices at the same time.

  1. The user taking the reading clips the iheart device on their index finger.

  1. The other user can then view their health data in real-time for as long as the iheart device is being used.

Endless applications

There are countless ways the iheart Remote app can be used to monitor the wellness of another person and enhance virtual health appointments.

Using it with loved ones

The iheart Remote app can be used to monitor the health and wellness of a friend, relative, or loved one when you can’t see each other in person.

Here are a few examples*:

  • Monitor the oxygen saturation of a loved one with lung problems
  • Find out how a friend or relative is doing after a cardiovascular scare
  • Check in with the health of a loved one who is ill and at risk of health complications, such as breathing difficulties

Using it in a healthcare setting

If you’re a health or wellness practitioner, the iheart Remote app can be used to monitor the health of patients who have the iheart device. Likewise, if you’re a patient who owns the iheart device, speak with your healthcare practitioner about using iheart Remote in your virtual sessions.

Here are a few examples of how iheart Remote could be used in a healthcare setting:

  • Guide a client in breath-based relaxation training
  • See how a patient’s heart rate responds to simple exercise
  • Check in with a client’s heart rate during a virtual therapy session
